Section 08 · coverage
Where we bring an on-site jersey personalization crew.
Merch Troop is based in Orange County. Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego are home turf with no travel charge. Las Vegas and everywhere else is quoted with travel itemized.
Markets8.1
Los Angeles
Arenas, studio lots, downtown venues, and brand activations. Load-in logistics and parking are the planning constraint, not distance.
Orange County
Our base. Shortest lead times, easiest sample turnaround, and the market where a same-week booking is most likely to be possible.
San Diego
Convention halls, hotel properties, beachside activations, and youth tournament complexes across the county.
Nationwide
We travel for programs outside the Southwest regularly. Those are quoted with flights, freight, and lodging itemized rather than folded into a lump sum, and they need more lead time — primarily because equipment freight and a fabric test on your garment lot both have to happen before the crew moves.
What does not change by market8.2
The specification travels with us. Names cap at roughly nine characters, numbers run one to three digits, application is full-color DTF transfer and heat press unless twill or embroidery is specified, sizes stock adult XS through 3XL with per-size caps in the intake tablet, and print location can be back, front, or sleeve.
So does the process. Intake at tablet stations ahead of the press counter, tickets distributed by least-pending-work, a shared queue board, one operator per lane, two to four lanes on a typical build, a full QC pass against the ticket before anything crosses the counter, and a counted reconciliation at teardown.
And so does the commercial structure: staffed stations from around $5,000 for a local build, staffing at $250 per hour across setup, live time, and teardown, and most corporate programs landing at $25 to $40 per guest all-in.

Lead time by market8.3
The question we get most often is how far out to book. The honest answer depends on two things that have nothing to do with distance.
Whose garments
If we source the blanks, the constraint is inventory and freight. If you supply them, the constraint is the fabric test — samples from your production lot have to reach our bench, get pressed at controlled settings, and come back with a written result before anyone commits a pallet. In Orange County that loop can close in a week. Across the country it cannot.
Whose art
A locked brand kit with usable vector files and a settled numeral style is quick. A mark that has to be rebuilt, or a multi-team program with different crests per group, is real prep work and it sits on the critical path because the layout has to be locked into the intake system before the date.
What to aim for
Three to four weeks is comfortable for a local build with your own garments. Add time for sourcing, for out-of-region travel, and for any venue that requires an approved floor plan or in-house electrical order. Shorter is sometimes possible at home — ask rather than assume.
Next step
Tell us the city and the venue.
Send garment source, unit count, venue, and hours on the floor. We reply with lane count, crew size, and a written figure.
